By sponsoring a project we can offer you naming rights to the project, and promote your business through our website. Tax Deductibility

Financial support of One Village and the consequent tax deductibility of your support is something that the Treasurer, Brad Butler has been working on for some time with the One Village committee and it’s auditors. Currently our Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the ATO is pending an assessment. However we anticipate any response in the positive for DGR status to be slow and we may need to prove our bone fides over a number of consecutive financial years.
Not having DGR status is frustrating for some people. However Just One Village Inc remains a registered not for profit organisation with its own corporate identity, ABN and ATO recognition. Corporate or business sponsorship of One Village can therefore be tax deductible and corporate financial supporters should request a receipted tax invoice for their financial support.

Have we confused you?

As a rule of thumb supporters can use the following notes to assess the tax deductibility of their financial donations to Just One Village Inc;

• Personal contributions to One Village remain non-deductible until DGR status is approved.

• Corporate sponsorship of One Village may be tax deductible if accompanied by receipted tax invoice.
