Classroom Construction

The need for more classrooms at Namwendwa Primary is overwhelming. In some classes there are over 200 students. The government can supply more teachers to enable the classes to be split, however this cannot be done before there are more classrooms in which to house the extra classes. If not, then read on...

In South Australia every empty bottle, can or carton can be redeemed for 10 cents. In Uganda 10 cents can buy 4 bricks!

How many bricks do you throw away?

If you like a beer or two, drink a bit too much coke or prefer bottled water, start collecting your bottles now to help fund our classroom construction projects.

Bottles-4-Bricks is an ongoing fundraising campaign that anyone can participate in – schools, businesses and individual house holds. Simply collect your empties, cash them in, and donate the money online at www.onevillage.org.au/bottles-4-bricks.
